Poole

Poole has grown from an important medieval port to a thriving town, home to iconic brands such as Sunseeker, Lush, LV and the RNLI. The prosperous trade with the north American colonies between the 16th and 18th centuries saw many of the medieval buildings replaced with Georgian mansions and terraced housing still seen in the Old Town. The harbour is the largest natural harbour in Europe and the second largest in the world, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from Sandbanks to Bournemouth.
